Congratulations to Line Breakers, our first ever 1 Play a Day Tournament Champion! Breakers followed up on their regular season title by winning the championship on Monday with the Detroit Pistons. LT Profits and Nelly’s Sportsline went down to defeat and will evenly divide Second and Third Place money. The full distribution including the regular season pool and the $350 bounty bonus won by Line Breakers is as follows:

Line Breakers: $4,900.00
LT Profits: 1,102.50
Nelly’s Sportsline: 1,102.50
Matt Palmer: 122.50
Alex Smart: 122.50

Important issues concerning the future of 1Playaday

Bottom line: we at head office made a lot of mistakes during the past few months.

We elected to run the tournament with an unfinished product because so many of you guys were involved, football was starting, and both Pinnacle and Bet Jamaica were committed.

This was a big mistake by us, and has put us behind the 8-ball. We were unable to catch up during the tournament, and as a result we still have an unfinished website. A lot of you guys face these types of issues every day. I guess the moral of this story is that you must wait until your product is done, before launching.

We did not want to let you guys down, so we ran the tournament anyway. But in turn we took a lot of heat from most of you guys. Because the site was not finished, we did not advertise the program anywhere, and as a result we were only able to make a few sales a week.

With all that said, we are moving forward with 1Playaday. It makes a lot of sense having 1Playaday around, and we have heard great comments about the concept.

So with that being said, we will be RE-launching the fully functioning website, with the next Tournament starting in January. This was a massive under-taking, and we messed up by launching too early.

Though embarrassed by our mistakes, we are 100% behind the success of this project. So please join us when the next Tournament starts up.
